Learning archery at Sherwood is a one-of-a-kind, Spiritual Adventure! We focus on the correct use of the bow and arrow in balance with mind/body unification. This creates a deeply fulfilling experience we call, Aiming from the ❤️.

Our archery sessions are held at our Private Indoor/Outdoor archery center known as “Sherwood“.

We specialize in archery sessions for individuals ages 15 and up, couples and small groups.

Please Note: Sherwood is located on a private property. We are not open for drive-by or drop-ins. All sessions are arranged in advance by Appointment Only.

Sherwood, as in Robin Hood’s famed Sherwood Forest, is nestled in a tranquil forest setting bordered by a stream. It’s located only three miles from downtown Ashland. This makes it a very accessible and convenient location, especially for visitors.

The name “Sherwood” conveys our type of archery. We specialize in instinctive-style traditional archery. We serve beginners to more advanced archers. This kind of archery is not specific however to the era of Robin Hood’s England, but belongs to those cultures who utilized archery from around the world: from England, Wales, Europe and Asia, to the Bushmen of Kalahari, Comanche Indian horseback archers and Amazonian tribes.

We cater to a wide range of skill levels, from beginners to advanced. All archery gear is provided in these sessions! All archery coaching sessions at Sherwood are by Appointment Only, reserved in advance.

We Offer Both Group & Private Archery Lessons for Adults, Teens & Youth

Moonbow Archery has several highly competent and experienced archery professionals who are all Certified USA Archery Instructors. We specialize in training archery enthusiasts in Instinctive-Style archery, with emphasis on proper archery technique and form, utilizing positive reinforcement with a methodical, consistent, fun approach to our lessons. We call this method: Aiming from the Heart.
